Last year, MMC Corp and its companies, MW Builders, the MMC Contractors entities, and BCS, united around the new brand name Cerris. MMC Corp is now Cerris. MW Builders is now Cerris Builders, and the MMC Contractors entities and BCS are now Cerris Systems.

The rebrand wasn’t the result of a merger, acquisition, or any other transaction. It was an intentional decision to unify the organization’s story to better reflect its market position as a national commercial construction solutions provider. Cerris remains a 100% employee-owned company, with the same trusted people, teams, values, and commitment to quality craftsmanship that have defined its legacy for nearly a century.

That successful partnership opened the door for further collaboration, this time with the Cerris Systems team in Reno, which specializes in building controls. Formerly known as Building Control Services (BCS), the Reno team rebranded alongside its mechanical counterpart (formerly MMC Contractors) to create the unified Cerris Systems identity, making it easier for clients to engage with the right expertise and expanded capabilities across locations.

Because of the trust built during the initial project, the client chose to work with the Reno team on a separate project in Northern Nevada. Now the same client is bringing both the Las Vegas mechanical team and the Reno controls team together on a new project in Las Vegas — a testament to the value of seamless collaboration and expertise across our network.
